香港酷兒: 《Don’t Say Hello - Live Session》by Kelsey Please

於2025年發行的卡式帶《Don’t Say Hello - Live Session》為香港跨性別音樂人 Kelsey Please 在2024年11月於Music Surveillance 演出的四首現場錄音外加主打歌的錄音室版本。 主題曲Don’t Say Hello 寫出音樂人作為跨性別人士／酷兒的身份認同和焦慮，在仿如Joy Division / 早期New Order /Sister of Mercy的80’s Synth Pop / Post Punk / Gothic 的冷血鼓擊和冷眼旁觀的結他襯托下，歌者的唱法是如斯冷靜壓抑:

此外，盒帶還翻玩Electro-clash 先驅Velvet Condom 的名作 Kalter Lippenstift , 翻唱版本與原作一樣冷艶，music break 的結他solo則為歌曲添上原作沒有的搖滾氣息。
 
盒帶的全DIY 手作仔操作更為經典。 卡式帶只推出七隻，用TDK盒帶錄製，所謂的封面，只是在TDK盒上用簽名筆寫上EP的名字、寫上量產編號，和在每一隻盒帶上加上一句宣言，例如「Be Gay, Do Crime」、「Trans Rights are Human Rights!」等，口號盒盒不同；而筆者收到那盒為「Queer Joy is Resistance」。 DIY 人手錄製的CD-R也只發行二十隻，小眾得如樂手呼籲大家關注的酷兒和跨性別群體般。
