何潔在與索尼音樂中國(大陸)合作四週年之際,迎來在索尼音樂的第二張個人全新專輯《底色》,距上一張專輯的推出間隔1334天。這個節點,也恰逢索尼音樂中國(大陸)正式啟用哥倫比亞唱片中國(大陸)廠牌。 2025年10月是一個明顯分界點,以新廠牌名義推出何潔重製版單曲〈你是我的風景2025〉,就是對外釋放的第一個預告——哥倫比亞唱片中國(大陸)廠牌迎來進一步營運。索尼音樂中國(大陸)旗下現有的多位簽約藝人的作品發行都被劃分到了哥倫比亞唱片中國(大陸)廠牌,包括何潔、黃子弘凡、鄧典等——索尼音樂中國(大陸)迎來公司戰略變動,亦是這張《底色》專輯發行前的專案背景。

On the fourth anniversary of her collaboration with Sony Music China (Mainland), He Jie releases her second solo album under Sony Music, "Desire,"(底色) 1334 days after the release of her previous album. This period in 2025 also coincides with the official launch of Columbia Records China (Mainland) label by Sony Music China (Mainland). October 2025 is a clear dividing line. The release of He Jie's remastered single "You Are My Scenery 2025" under the new label is the first announcement to the outside world: Columbia Records China (Mainland) label will usher in further operation. The release of works by many artists currently signed to Sony Music China (Mainland) has been transferred to Columbia Records China (Mainland) label, including He Jie, Huang Zihongfan, and Deng Dian. This strategic shift at Sony Music China (Mainland) forms the project background for the release of the album "Desire"(底色).

新專輯《底色》的曲子都是何潔在海量的Demo曲庫中反復挑選而來,所以保證了曲子的悅耳度。專輯打出的規劃目標是成爲:何潔現階段最接近【自己】的作品。專輯的文案表明,何潔雖然擁有歌唱天賦,但她隨性的性格常常導致她做事缺乏深思熟慮,事後她也經常反思自己的行為。她這一生的做事方式都是「先做再想」,先把心裡的勁甩出去,再承擔所有後果。因此,新專輯主要是表達何潔在追隨自己慾望時的本能,曲目都是商業情歌之外的內心獨白。

The tracks on He Jie's new album, "Desire,"(底色) were carefully selected from a vast library of demo tracks, ensuring their melodious quality. The album's goal is to be He Jie's most authentic work to date. The album's background suggests that while He Jie possesses singing talent, her carefree personality often leads to actions lacking deep consideration, though she frequently reflects on her behavior afterward. Her approach to things is to act first and think later, prioritizing her inner feelings over thoughtful consideration. This often leads to negative consequences. Therefore, the new album mainly expresses He Jie's instincts when following her own desires, and the songs are all inner monologues outside of commercial love songs.

在宣發策略上,新專輯前三波主打歌〈不發瘋受不了〉〈Kill the Flowers〉〈你也配〉在2025年第二季相繼釋出。三首主打歌都是情緒高漲的作品,單獨主打沒有問題,但最終匯集成專輯推出,就開始顯現一些問題。在上一張專輯《桔梗》發行後,我說,索尼音樂中國(大陸)沒有給何潔大陸以外的音樂資源。所以,這次新專輯開場迎面而來──台灣音樂人與國際音樂人共同創作的〈Kill the Flowers〉。此外,專輯中的另外一首〈Butterfly〉的原曲也來自台灣。正式專輯以〈Kill the Flowers〉開篇,這樣的設計暗藏心思,上一張專輯《桔梗》以“花”詠志,這張專輯的開篇直接殺死花朵,連根拔起,太狠了!

Regarding the promotional strategy, the first three singles from the new album, "Why so serious"(不發瘋受不了) "Kill the Flowers," and "Who R U,"(你也配)  were released in Q2 of 2025. These three main tracks are all emotionally charged works, and they would be fine as standalone tracks, but when they are combined into an album, some problems begin to emerge. After the release of her previous album, "J.He,"(桔梗) I mentioned that Sony Music China (Mainland) hadn't provided He Jie with any music resources outside of Chinese mainland. Surprisingly, The opening track of this new album, "Kill the Flowers," was co-written by Taiwanese and international musicians. Additionally, another track on the album, "Butterfly," also originated in Taiwan. The album opens with "Kill the Flowers," which I think was intentional. In her previous album, "J.He,"(桔梗) He Jie compared herself to various flowers with tenacious vitality to express her resilient inner self. However, the opening of this album directly kills the flowers, uprooting them completely. 

〈Kill the Flowers〉的原曲應該是R&B的設定,來自2023年10月芬蘭赫爾辛基的音樂創作營,由台灣音樂人 Erika 劉艾立聯合國際音樂人 Sara Ryan、Oskari Ruohonen 共同創作。何潔版本被幾位大陸音樂人改成了搖滾風格,但是編曲做的很滿很硬核,從頭轟炸到底,想說這樣的開篇設計,聽感上不是很舒服。提到Erika劉艾立,請容許我稍微推薦這位台灣新潮R&B新貴!雖然她目前在大陸還沒有認知度,但她跟 Sara Ryan、Oskari Ruohonen 同時期創作的另一首〈Royal Purple〉以及談論身體、性、心的新專輯《雙魚宮》很能代表她現階段的審美風格和創作水準。華語新潮R&B氣質的音樂風格與大陸女歌手張靚穎、袁婭維、單依純的契合度很高,想說可以跟她邀首單曲玩起來,很推薦合作。

Based on some information, the original track "Kill the Flowers" is likely an R&B piece, created at a music creation camp in Helsinki, Finland in October 2023, by Taiwanese musician Erika Liu in collaboration with international musicians Sara Ryan and Oskari Ruohonen. He Jie's version was remixed into a rock style by several Chinese mainland musicians, but the arrangement was too hardcore, bombarding the ears from beginning to end. This opening design made it sound overly noisy. Although she's not yet well-known in Chinese mainland, her song "Royal Purple," written around the same time as Sara Ryan and Oskari Ruohonen, and her new album "Pisces,"(雙魚宮) which explores the body, sex, and the soul, perfectly represent her current aesthetic style and creative level. This trendy Chinese R&B music style is a great match for Chinese mainland female singers Jane Zhang, Tia Ray, and Shan Yichun. I think they could collaborate with Erika Liu on a single; I highly recommend it.

回到何潔新專輯。以單曲角度,〈不發瘋受不了〉以音樂形式回應了何潔橫衝直撞的、具有一定爭議的直率性格,單曲的企劃定位沒有問題,以自身的本真個性出發,展現出一個怡然自樂、我行我素的新時代都市摩登女郎的形象。如果以〈不發瘋受不了〉為整張專輯的出發點,還真有可能做出一張「任蜚語流言,我樂故我在」的超脫作品,而以此為核心,亦契合很多國際奢侈品牌的品牌理念。但是顯而易見,〈Kill the Flowers〉〈你也配〉等對外界事物攻擊性很强的作品一出來,如果沒有特別合理的動機,其實會縮小主流歌手對外顯現的人物格局。

Returning to He Jie's new album, from a single perspective, "Why so serious"(不發瘋受不了) musically responds to He Jie's headstrong and somewhat controversial straightforward personality. The single's concept and positioning are sound; it starts from her authentic personality, showcasing the image of a carefree, independent, and modern urban woman. If "Why So Serious"(不發瘋受不了) could serve as the starting point for the entire album, it might actually create a transcendent work that embodies "no matter what the outside world says, I am spiritually rich and happy," a core spirit that aligns with the brand philosophy of many international luxury brands. However, it is obvious that when works such as "Kill the Flowers" and "Who R U,"(你也配) are released, which are highly aggressive towards external things, they will actually weaken the public image of mainstream singers if they do not have a particularly reasonable motivation.

整張專輯在内容編排上顯得有些分散,有些混亂和割裂的感覺——這張專輯的10首歌曲,至少由三個音樂團隊分別製作,而製作團隊只需要交付技術達標的作品,更高層面的整體立意、意識形態的把控則在於專案監製層面。所以能夠看到,最终把歌曲匯集在一起以專輯形式呈現的時候,找到了一個框架支點——【自我】。但是,【自我】是沒有邊界的空汎概念,是需要繼續深度解構的,由面到點、由點到面,否則我覺得算是半成品。從這個角度而言,何潔新專輯《底色》再斟酌、再打磨會更優。從目前已有專輯曲目反推建議,我覺得可以更明確的解構探討何潔人物性格中理性與感性對立并存的【自我】,以——本我、自我、超我,三個維度來真正深刻解構詮釋她的【自我】,從個體映射人性,從而帶出衍生思考,賦予一定的時代意義。

The album's content arrangement feels somewhat scattered, chaotic, and disjointed. The 10 songs were produced by at least three different music teams, with the production teams only responsible for delivering technically sound work, while the higher-level overall concept and ideological control fell to the project supervisors. Therefore, when the songs were finally brought together as an album, a framework of "self" was found. However, "self" is a boundless and vague concept that neeer in-depth deconstruction; otherwise, I feel it's an unfinished product. From this perspective, He Jie's new album "Desire"(底色)  would be even better with further consideration and polishing. Based on suggestions derived from the existing album tracks, I believe it's possible to more clearly deconstruct and explore the "self" within He Jie's personality, where rationality and sensibility coexist. This could be achieved through a profound analysis of the id, ego, and superego, truly revealing and interpreting He Jie's "self." Furthermore, by reflecting on human nature through the individual, it could lead to further reflections and imbue the album with a certain contemporary significance.

在Z世代做專輯,需要展現專輯歌曲作爲單曲形式獨立存在的吸睛性,但是以專輯形式集結編排時,每一首又都是概念意識傳達上缺一不可的那一首——這是頭部歌手在Z世代做專輯的本質意義!本我、自我、超我,三者矛盾對立、但又并存共生。已有的專輯曲子風格也能夠進一步歸類于三個維度的面嚮,就像單曲〈Kill the Flowers〉裏的何潔直接「殺死」專輯《桔梗》裏的何潔——這很矛盾,但深層次思考卻又是合理的,因爲【自我】受到【本我】和【超我】之間的博弈與拉扯干預,就是會發生搖擺傾向,造成不同的分裂時刻。以专辑曲子风格大致區分如下,〈Kill the Flowers〉〈你也配〉〈不發瘋受不了〉〈虛文〉的曲子風格偏向於本我情緒(Id)〈請抱緊我在深淵中無盡的孤單〉〈不如我們就這樣〉〈同行〉的曲子風格偏向於自我情緒(Ego)〈深色〉〈Butterfly〉〈Turn The Broken Heart Into Art〉的曲子風格則偏向於超我情緒(Superego)。

When creating albums for Generation Z audiences, individual tracks need to be eye-catching when promoted separately. Not only that, when all the songs are compiled and arranged as an album, each track is an indispensable work in conveying the overall concept and consciousness of the album. I believe this is the essential meaning of a top singer creating an album for Generation Z! The id, ego, and superego are contradictory yet coexisting. The existing album tracks can also be further categorized into these three dimensions. For example, He Jie in the single "Kill the Flowers" directly "kills" He Jie in the album "J.He,"(桔梗) this is contradictory, but upon deeper reflection, it makes sense. This is because the ego, influenced by the interplay and tug-of-war between the id and superego, tends to waver, creating different moments of splitting. Based on the style of the songs on the album, the styles of "Kill the Flowers," "Who R U,"(你也配) "Why so serious,"(不發瘋受不了) and "Untamed Verse"(虛文) lean towards the id; "Hold Me in the Abyss,"(請抱緊我在深淵中無盡的孤單) "As We Are,"(不如我們就這樣) and "Under the Same Sky"(同行) lean towards the ego; while "Noir,"(深色) "Butterfly," and "Turn The Broken Heart Into Art" lean towards the superego.

譬如,如果能夠進一步拆解,調整先以三張意識EP釋出,分別探討何潔自我中的本我、自我、超我,最後再匯集成專輯形式正式發行。不僅在宣發上達到吸睛效果,也能保證每首歌曲最大程度的曝光——市面上的作品雖多,但是真正由高緯意識主導且能落地完成的卻是寥寥,在此基礎上還能做到好聽更是難得中的難得。在藝人形象塑造層面,在視覺上也能借此詮釋截然不同三個面向的何潔——張惠妹需要大刀闊斧用「阿密特」的分身做明顯區分、獨立打造專輯,來合理化反差表達,完成不同的【自我】拼圖。而何潔只需要一張專輯,直接完成深度的【自我】解構——這是這張專輯原本能做、且能达到的高度。

If this album could be further dissected, and released as three separate EPs exploring He Jie's id, ego, and superego, before being compiled into a single album for formal release, it would not only attract attention in terms of promotion but also ensure maximum exposure for each song. While there are many works on the market, very few are truly driven by higher-dimensional consciousness and successfully implemented. Even rarer are those that not only meet these criteria but also deliver enjoyable listening experiences. In terms of artist image building, this also allows for the visual interpretation of three distinct aspects of He Jie. A-mei (Chang Hui-mei) needs to make a bold and distinct distinction using the "Amit" persona, rationalizing her contrasting expressions by independently creating an Amit album, thus completing different pieces of her "self." He Jie, on the other hand, only needs one album to directly complete a profound deconstruction of her "self"—this is the level this album could have achieved and reached.

綜上所述,想说專輯歌曲的質量其實不錯,但既然已經投入這麽多的金錢和精力,如果能更多一些意識概念層面的統籌把控,將專輯進一步升華成爲大陸市場的一張最頂級的年度作品,會更亮眼,重點也不會有更多商業成本產生,何樂不爲?當然,何洁與索尼音樂中國(大陸)的合作已經超過四年,雙方的合作越來越緊密且深入。相比于事業低谷期的一片荒蕪,到如今何潔的事業穩步上升、越來越好,索尼音樂自然功不可沒。在索尼音樂中國(大陸)的戰略變動下,希望雙方的合作不因高層變動而有所變化,還能繼續携手愉快前行。

In conclusion, I want to say that the album's song quality is actually quite good. However, given the significant investment of money and effort, if there had been more overall planning and control at the conceptual level, elevating the album to the ranks of the top releases in the Chinese mainland market that year, it would have been even more outstanding. Moreover, this wouldn't have incurred additional commercial costs, so why not do it? Of course, He Jie's collaboration with Sony Music China (Mainland) has lasted for over four years, and the partnership has become increasingly close and in-depth. Compared to the barrenness of her career during a low point, He Jie's career is now steadily rising and thriving, and Sony Music has undoubtedly played a crucial role in this. Given the strategic changes at Sony Music China (Mainland), it is hoped that the collaboration between the two parties will not change due to the changes in senior management, and that they can continue to move forward hand in hand happily.

多説一點。綜合來説,索尼音樂中國(大陸)迎來公司戰略變動,新高層的變動自然連帶影響資源層面發生變動——新高層入主后迫切需要製造業績,此外也可能引進他的歌手資源,一定程度上存在擠壓原有藝人空間和資源的可能性。因此,在索尼音乐推出第二張專輯后的現階段,何潔需要抛開個性與火爆脾氣,讓渡1-2首獨立單曲的自我,以索尼音樂此前的《跳樓機》爲基准專攻一首新的大衆流行,在商業層面加碼底氣。進一步避免在公司架構與高層流動等外在因素下,未来可能衍生的被邊緣化風險。在此預祝事業更上一層樓!(文/酋長)

To elaborate further, Sony Music China (Mainland) is undergoing a strategic shift, and the change in senior management naturally leads to changes in resources.
