我走在自中友百貨往技術學院的方向. 迎面而來的人口多如繁星. 而無論面對一個, 或是並排走的人, 到最後都是由我側身, 或改變路線讓他們可以順利通過. 不, 這裡沒有"excuse me," 沒有"Pardon." 迎面而來的人視我的讓步為理所當然. 但我卻是中不能理解為何不是互相讓步. 要是我堅持自己的直線, 那是否就是衝突的產生點? 甚至惡言相向和幹架的引爆點?

思索了一下, 我決定對著迎面而來的人們站定腳步. 看看他們如何面對.

有的人並排著走, 到我身邊時發現我並沒有讓的意圖於是驚恐地在擦撞前一刻躍開. 有的則是認為我到最後一步會讓, 但我卻沒有, 因而造成了肩撞, 和惡質的互瞪. 有些則是無法把持自己的路徑, 而一直彎到我的路線, 最後在站定的我面前必須繞道而過.

人生又何嘗不是如此. 在旅途上遇到了困難只會一昧閃躲而不去面對, 抑或是帶著鄉愿面對著對你毫無同理心的人們, 我們是否必須表現得如此龜縮? 還是可以直接一點, 多體諒一點, 多禮讓一點. 面對每一個人都能有同理心, 也對每一個人有著一視同仁的尊敬? 如果能從走路這種簡單的生活小細節做起. 那或許誠實而和平面對彼此的一天會一步步逼近吧.
